| Using Wireless Setup Wizard, you can set up a wireless HP printer in minutes, right from the printer's touchscreen. |

| The USB setup method has you temporarily connect your printer to your computer using the USB cable. After setup is complete, you'll remove the cable to print wirelessly. |

| In order to begin printing, you first need to connect your wireless printer to your office's wireless network. You can do this one of two ways: |

Wireless Setup Wizard: This method works for HP Photosmarts, Officejets, and select LaserJet printers that support wireless printing. It consists of following steps on the printer's control panel or touchscreen. During these quick steps, you'll be prompted to enter the office's network name and password. |

USB setup method: This method works for HP Photosmarts, Officejets, and select LaserJets that support wireless printing. Using the printer's installation software and a USB cable, it will walk you through the steps of temporarily connecting the printer to your computer using the USB cable. Once the setup is complete, you will remove the USB cable to print wirelessly.* |

| To download your printer's software, visit HP.com, click Support & Drivers, and then enter the printer model. |

| Step 4: Select your printer's operating system. |
|

| Next, you'll need to install the printer's software onto any computer you'd like to print from. For a user experience most similar to the steps below, you should download up-to-date drivers. |
 |
| (NOTE: If you'd rather use the software CD that came with the printer, you can skip to the next section.) |

| To download up-to-date drivers from HP.com: |
 |

Click Support & Drivers. |

Enter your printer model and click Search. |
 |
3. |
Select your printer if multiple matches are found. |
 |

Select your printer's operating system and click Next. |
 |

Click Driver. You can then choose from the drop-down menu which type of download you'd like, including Basic or Full Feature software |

After clicking which version you'd like, click Download. |

Restart your computer before downloading the software or before inserting the software CD. |

Before the download begins, you may need to authorize the file opening. |

Make sure to accept any firewall pop-up messages while installing software. |

| Step 2: Choose Network (Ethernet/wireless). |

| If there are multiple wireless printers in the area, make sure you connect to your printer by checking your printer's MAC address. |

| After downloading the software or inserting the CD into the PC's CD drive, you're ready to begin installing! Make sure the computer is connected to the network as well, either wirelessly or via an Ethernet cord. |
 |
| HP software will walk you through the installation process, step-by-step. These steps are for the HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium e-All-in-One, though they will be similar for most new wireless printers. |

| From your PC: |

Initiate the software, by clicking the downloaded file or inserting the CD. |
 |

After the basic device software has been installed (which happens automatically), you'll be asked how you are going to connect the printer to your computer. Choose Network (Ethernet/wireless) then click Next. |

Your computer will seek out the wireless printers in the area. Select the printer you'd like to connect with and click Next. |

Does your office have multiple wireless printers? You can check the listed MAC (Media Access Control) addresses against your printers by touching the wireless icon on the printer's touchscreen and comparing numbers. |

| That's it! You will receive a message if you've successfully connected your computer to the printer. If the printer has fax machine capabilities, you'll be asked to enter fax details, including your office's fax number and company information. You will also be prompted to register the printer on HP.com. |

| Step 4: Installing the software may take a few minutes. |

| Step 7: Add the printer to your system. |

| If you are using a Mac, the steps are very similar to those on a PC. |

| From your Mac: |

Initiate the software by clicking the downloaded file or inserting the CD. |

After reading the "Introduction" screen, click Continue. |
 |

Select your printer if more than one is listed, then click Continue. |

1.In the "Installation Type" window, you can choose what type of download you'd like by clicking Customize... When finished, click Install. The installation could take a few minutes. |

After the installation is complete, click Continue. The computer will seek out the wireless printers in the area. Select the printer you'd like to connect with and click Next. |

If your office has more than one wireless printer, make sure you connect to your printer by checking your printer's MAC address. Touch the wireless icon on the printer's touchscreen and compare numbers. |

After the computer locates the printer, you'll be asked to enter additional information if the printer has faxing or digital filing capabilities. |

Before you can print, you must add the printer to your system. Click Add Printer, locate the printer in the new window, click Add, then click Continue. |

Choose if you want to install the HP inkjet widget to monitor the printer's ink levels. Click Continue. |

You will then be prompted to register the printer on HP.com. |

The setup is now complete! Click OK. |

| Remember, you'll need to repeat the software installation steps above to connect additional computers to this wireless HP printer. |

Load the desired paper into the printer's paper tray. |

Under the File menu in your software application, click Print. |

Click the printer tab and select your new wireless printer from the list of available printers. |

Click Print or OK to begin printing. |
