| Setup on Windows 7 64bit was painless and I found the network ADF scanning abilities to be very impressive. Just load your documents and click scan to PDF... and bam! my expense report is done! The color copier is beautiful, and printing is very fast! I can't speak on dependability or TCO yet, but It feels and functions like a quality product. |

| i have gone from a bjc 5500 to this very awesome machine. i did have some install issues due to my own personal time pressures resulting in having to install it myself, but after the very helpful staff at hp i had it running, basically rebooting sorts it, including the rear panel if you are not using a roll, but a tray front load like me. i really like it and reccommend bigtime! Colour is awesome, photo's and drawings with colour that i never anticipated using but the quality is so good i am now going the colour way. my bjc 5500 only printed black by my choice - this hp is awesome. |

| I've used many different brands of mulifunction printers and I must say HP is by far the easiest to setup and use. You really get alot of bang for you buck with this printer. It takes up less space in the office than many other printers yet still spits out pages like the big hitters. |

| After buying "copiers" for many years, our IT associates told me I need to look at this.....WOW!!! Blows away the other devices and just works; like other review says, it just keeps running, due to the low cost, we went ahead and purchased it, and I'm very glad we did, as I see this product lasting a long long time. I'm glad we are now out of the habit of getting into a new lease every 3-4 years |

| This printer is used in a small office with as many as 15 people networking into it at any given time. We had our doubts when we took it out of the box and saw how small and light weight it was. We are believers now...it's fast and quiet compared to the Dell 5300 it replaced, and takes up less space. Love the duplex option also! |

| We reccomend this specific model to our managed services (Kaseya) clients in the banking industry because of its' security, and reliability. Additionally, one has to believe that the cost per page is inexpensive if bankers, known for their efficiency, are happy with it.
Great job HP, thanks! |

| For $2000 retail (can be had for around $1500-1700 if you shop around) it is the best bang for your buck out there when it comes to a monochrome MFC. Our office doesn't need to make color prints, priced out all sorts of monochrome MFC and this HP far exceeded the competition. It is a great midsize unit, with fast printing/copying performance, and I love not waiting a forever for the first print to come out unlike other laserjets I have used which take up to 60 seconds to warm up before it even begins processing the print job. The only bad thing I could say about this unit is that it is not so fast turning on if you ever have to turn the unit off especially the first time you boot it up, take it from me leave it on and just let it go to sleep |

| Bought it for myself (along with the 2,000 paper tray). It is built like a tank. The trays do not feel like a $100 printer (not that I expected it to be.)
I maxed out the memory to 512 MB and is connected to my Windows XP machine via USB (added the EIO card for that, too). Also have the 20 G hard drive in place.
The whole thing was not difficult to set up (had a few friends help me get it out of the boxes.)
Am using it with Corel Ventura Publisher 10 (in Postscript mode). Everything looks great. I print a lot of complex forms and newsletters (with plenty of graphic / photos).
It truly is not cheap to buy--but it costs a little to use. Toner lasts a very long time--really about a cent a page to use.
Am thinking about getting the multifunction finisher. Not really "need" it.
Overall it's an overkill for me, but I use it a lot and am not afraid that it's going to blow up on me.
It needs its own "space". It truly is a big printer. Thank goodness the 2,000 paper tray has wheels. Think of it as a big copier. Without the big tray, you had better have a good (and strong) table for it to sit on.
Thank you HP for making a great printer. |

| I upgraded to this printer from the designjet 130 and this printer is so much superior to the 130 because of the print heads. The printheads last 5 or six times longer because the printheads have 2000 nozels per print head so many nozels can be pluged with dried or thick ink but still print perfect. where the 130 only has a hundred or so nozels and they get filled fast and never work again. in a year i went through 30 print heads with the 130 and 6 months with the z3200 i have went through zero(0) wow! and if you look at the price of printheads, well there you have it. if you are using gloss paper you can turn off the extra gloss ink and save that. i bought a photosmart pro B8850 as back up because they use the use most of the same printheads and the ink too if you use refill cartridges. The only problem is that it prints a little slow and will not print close to the edge of paper. |

| 1/ Just bought the printer yesterday. Setup with my Win 7 and Mac went through without any hassle, whether print via WiFi, ePrint, or AirPrint.
2/ Print quality, especially the color part, very good and beyond my expectation. (Am I outdated?)
3/ However, fine-tuning of printer cannot be readily done. This is due to the very slim documentation supplied! Am still struggling on how to print double-sided pages.
4/ One complain: comparatively speaking, toner consumption is much higher than other model and competitors - only 1,200 pages/cartridge. |

| This printer was damaged in shipment. After notifying HP I was pleasantly surprised to have a service person at our office the next day with the correct parts. Once the problem was corrected, it has never looked back. We print a wide variety of documents. When using the HP Laser Photo paper the photo quality is the best I have seen from a laser printer. Excellent speed and quality. |

| I bought this printer early last year, Being someone with no graphic design experience and really not too network savvy. After a bit of a struggle I discovered that this was one of the best purchases Ive made for my small business. I can design and print promotional posters, pictures, signs etc. I am now to a point where photoshop is not nearly as challenging and I am truly surprised with the quality and speed of this printer.
I hope you have the same experience. I highly recommend this printer! |

| Our reseller recommended these printers to us based on their placement as statement printers a bank operation center. We use these in high volume billing and records printing operations in the healthcare industry. Out of the 6 devices we purchased 3 years ago, all are still in operation and half of them have over three million prints and are still going. |

| I have had this printer for 6 years. It does wear out rollers, but the new rollers are better quality. It keeps on going and producing great bw and color. It is a real work hourse. Fine art heavy paper could be a problem above 280gm, but I have done canvas from Canson and BC paper.
It is a printer that you can depend upon. Foto 1 |

| OVERVIEW:
Outstanding product. 5 stars without a doubt.
This printer is reliablel, in the tradition of HP, old line printers such as the HP-4 and HP3 that were workhorses.
WHY OUTSTANDING:
I was tired of the multifuntion printers that were a fax, printer, scanner, and copier and failed me. I have had about 15 printers from HP. and this is the one of the best. I have had HP 4500, HP4600, 4650 and this tops them all. It is fast,to the first copy.
FEATURES:
No problems in hook up, no problems in feeding paper, jaming, nor of finding the printer on line. There is a blue connector cable that lights up showing you have a positive connection.
PAPER TRAY:
I sugggest you get the largest paper tray you can find, as you will want to avoid always loading paper
COLOR:
outstanding color, no problems.
TONER:
Easy to load, some what expensive but well worth it. Large cartridge, not a small size toner, long time between replacements, like 5000 to 10,000 copies between replacement.
DISPLAY:
Easy to read displays, notice of which toner is low or out, when paper tray is out, orange light lights up. Green light when ready to print.
CONNECTIONS:
small form USB plug connetion to pc, small square connection (3/8 inch) to Printer
PRINTER SPEED:
this printer is fast, about 8 to 12 pagers per minute. No waiting, This is ideal for smal businesses up to three people. It is networkable if order as an option.
CONCLUSION:
For home, small office you can not buy a better printer for color printing. You pay a little more, but it is well worth the price for Reliabilty and Ease of use, and color. |

| This is a fantastic printer. Probably the most affordable network-ready, auto-duplexing, color printer available. Don't listen to the negative reviewers about Win 7 problems or not printing when it's out of color. I've had this printer for 3 years (running Win Vista, then Win 7) and it works extremely well. It's connected via my wifi router and all 3 laptops can send jobs over the network with no issues at all. Send job to start print time for me is ~5 seconds. Printer never jams. This printer, like almost any color printer, has a B&W pass-through option when it runs out of color toner. You just have to enable it in the menu. I think a lot of the negative reviews come from relatively naive users who blame the printer for their own inability to use it correctly. This is a fantastic printer. |

| I have 3 of these currently in use. They are fast and reliable. They do use toner rapidly probably because the cartridge is small.
I just got the network version and it configured in just a few minutes for each computer that I installed the drive on. No problems.
When these are on sale they are a real steal. |

| I was needing a new printer, and this one was at a great price so I go it. I've done all my Wedding invitations (about 250) on it and it works awazingly!! No once did it do something wrong, even when we had to replace the ink. It gave me a warning on the screen and we changed it and everything continued like normal. This was the best purchase I've ever made and totally recommend this product. |

| This produst is the culmination of HPs efforts to produce a machine that satisfies all requirements of a digital copy/print/fax/scan unit.
I have serviced and sold these machines for their entire life cycle to date starting with the original version which is the 9000MFP. The M9050MFP is the original 9000MFP with a different control panel and firmware that uses tabs (closely resembling its competition but doing it HPs way.
If there is any fault to this machine it would be that it is to durable, that if you relied on it to make money post sale from service it would let you down. I have witnessed customers print 900,000 pages from one of these printers in a 4 month period without maintenance and without failure. The recommended maintenance interval is 350,000 pages.
Also these units can boast the lowest cost of print in the market and the lowest overall cost of ownership.
Recommended to any company that truly wants to save money on print/copy costs. |

| This unit is heavy and will require 2 people to move. The toner trays are small, but they are conveniently located in a pull out tray. The LCD screen is large enough, but is generally of little use once the unit is configured. The only option from the LCD panel for scanning, is to send to a USB key. I found this extremely disappointing because it seems to me it would have fare more useful as a network device, to be able to scan to a network share! I do like the wireless feature as I can now roll this printer around and plug it in anywhere there is an electrical outlet. I'd prefer to not do that, but in order to scan to a computer, you must be at the computer. That means, load the documents into the scanner, and then pull them through using ReadIris that comes with the device. The printer is good, the copy feature is good, faxing is simple enough, but the scanner ability is completely inefficient. |

| I have 3 of these units and they have been very dependable. Low, low cost per page and service has been next to none. When you copy or print a page that is saturated in color the fuser has a tendacy to jam. I now use 24lb paper and that has ended. Compared to our Bizhub and Xerox warm me up all night cube with crayons, we'll take the HP any day. |

| I think this is a great printer. Yes it is a bit noisy when doing it's housekeeping after printing. The double sided feature is a great paper saver and has worked flawlessly (2 months). The print quality is very good, except draft (fastest print) will have some wiggly lines in the text. The graphics is not photosmart quality, but the speed is a whole lot faster than photosmart. For a general purpose printer on a LAN, this is the answer. No need to have a desktop computer turned on to print from your laptop. |

| I use my printer in a small construction office and have experienced no problems over the last year. Our office prints between 100-500 pages per day and have had no problems...just have to have patience while the printer calibrates and cleans itself periodically. No problems scanning either. I've never had to "tinker" with the machine and love the performance. Good investment for those wanting a do-it-all printer. |

but its not too much of a hassle. overall its a really realy great machine and its also good on toner yield. |
